Dental Assistant (Part time)
Shore Dental in North Port is currently looking for a Part-time Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team/ Must have your Florida EFDA certificate to be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Assist our dentist with composites, veneers, smile makeovers, crown and bridge, whitening, lab work and other dental procedures
- Serve as an infection control officer, develop infection control protocol, and prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Obtain information on patient’s medical history
- Take blood pressure and pulse
- Help patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
- Provide patients with instructions for post oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Dental Charting using Open Dental
- Digital Radiography using Dexis
